Last weekend, Anna Claire got to meet her cousin, Sophia for the first time. As you can see, she was quite interested in touching the "Ba-bee" and saying "Pat, pat, pat." I had to watch her little hands as she doesn't quite know her own strength or the fragility of a newborn, but she certainly adores her and just wanted to love on her. I think she and Sophie are going to be great friends!
After Sophia was born - Anna Claire headed to Danville for some fun with Honey and Poppy so Brad and I could visit with everyone. She had a blast! They turned an old furniture box into a fort! She also enjoyed playing the piano with her Great-Granddaddy.
Brad and I coaxed Anna Claire into doing some of her recent tricks on camera this past weekend. She is really beginning to imitate and mimic us so we are having to watch our every word!

Last Thursday, February 18th - our niece, Sophia was born to Bobbi and Marty. She is absolutely beautiful! Brad and I are very proud as Aunt and Uncle (for the first time) and cannot wait to introduce Anna Claire to the baby. Unfortunately Sophie remains in the hospital in the NICU. She took in some fluid during birth and has required a little extra time to warm up to this crazy world. She is in great hands and continues to improve each day. We hope that she will get to go home as early as Wednesday, but please keep Sophie, Bobbi and Marty in your prayers! Brad and I are anxious to hold her, love on her and introduce Anna Claire to the "ba-beee." That seems to be here favorite word lately!
I don't have many pictures of her yet, but here is a sneak peak. Anyhow, she is precious! Get well soon Sophie and congrats to Marty and Bobbi!
I know, I know. I am WAY behind. January was busy with traveling, celebrating, bad weather and lots of fun! I have several good video clips to upload this week, but for the meantime here are a few photos to hold you over.
