15 Months

Today marks Anna Claire's 15 month birthday! It is also my friend Melanie's 30th birthday... so happy birthday Mel!

We saw Dr. Childers yesterday for Anna Claire's 15 month check up. Everything went very well. Of course she hated the shots, but other than that did very well and entertained the office staff and Dr. Childers. She weighs just over 21 lbs and is about 33 inches long! That puts her near the 99% in height! Sooner than later that will level out I am sure, but she is definitely favoring 18 month clothing due to her height. Everything is rather large in the waist, but she needs the length! She is so busy and active that she has hovered around 21 pounds for the past few months.

She is constantly trying to talk and lately has been saying "nana" over and over which either stands for banana or Anna - we can't quite tell! She is also ho-ho-ho-ing and roaring like a Kentucky Wildcat! I think she has about 10 words that she uses consistently and loves to try to repeat after me. She will be blabbering in no time!

We are looking forward to Christmas and will have plenty of fun stories and pictures to share at the end of the week. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
