Oh what a difference a year can make! Tonight before bed, I decided to take some repeat pictures of Anna Claire wearing her fave NYE tiara.
We had a lovely Christmas visiting with both families. Anna Claire had a great time as well and loves her new toys, books and clothes! Just a few pics to share.
Today marks Anna Claire's 15 month birthday! It is also my friend Melanie's 30th birthday... so happy birthday Mel!
We saw Dr. Childers yesterday for Anna Claire's 15 month check up. Everything went very well. Of course she hated the shots, but other than that did very well and entertained the office staff and Dr. Childers. She weighs just over 21 lbs and is about 33 inches long! That puts her near the 99% in height! Sooner than later that will level out I am sure, but she is definitely favoring 18 month clothing due to her height. Everything is rather large in the waist, but she needs the length! She is so busy and active that she has hovered around 21 pounds for the past few months.
She is constantly trying to talk and lately has been saying "nana" over and over which either stands for banana or Anna - we can't quite tell! She is also ho-ho-ho-ing and roaring like a Kentucky Wildcat! I think she has about 10 words that she uses consistently and loves to try to repeat after me. She will be blabbering in no time!
We are looking forward to Christmas and will have plenty of fun stories and pictures to share at the end of the week. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
I know these are not exactly Christmas photos, but I had to post. We took some family/AC shots in October, just before Halloween in Shakertown. I am so pleased with the way they turned out and we finally got a picture of all three of us that I am happy with! It only took a year. Hahaha. Heather (who was also our wedding photographer)did a GREAT job. Here is just a little sneak preview. These are probably not the best quality as they are scanned in, but I wanted to give you a peak. For all you adoring family members... don't worry, you will have a chance to order soon. ;-)
So we ventured off to Lexington Green this evening to pay a visit to Santa Claus. This picture is worth a thousand words, so I will spare you the details! Ha!
Ok, so I am a bit behind on the blog as many of you have so kindly pointed out to me over and over. My apologies! I really will try to post more often during the holidays while I have some time off and I vow to blog more in the new year!
Anna Claire is running. Full speed. She is climibing. On everything. Life as we knew it has ended and now we are full-time-toddler-chasers! Since she started walking a few months ago I have had less time to blog or breathe for that matter! She is really working on words and lately has spit out such things as "cheese," "sssshoe" and "sock." I have also caught her saying "cup" or some variation. She is constantly mimicking and trying to repeat after us, which has recently made us more mindful of the words we are using. Ha. Oh and yes, she is still dancing through each and every day!
