5 weeks

It is hard to believe it was five weeks ago today that we delivered her! Our next doc appt is not until November 25, but my best measurements show that she is 23 inches long and just at 9 lbs! She is growing and changing each day. Today is a big day... it is also our 1st wedding anniversary! It has been quite an amazing year for us! Today has been a good day. Grandmom came over to offer some relief so I could take a much needed nap and get some things done around the house. Tonight Jessica and Porter are coming over to sit with her while we go out for dinner. She is still struggling to find the difference between day and night. Each night is different, but she is sleeping for longer periods of time more frequently. Just as I say that though she will have a terrible night like last night when she demanded to eat every 1 1/2 to 2 hours! Growth spurt perhaps? :-) Below are a few recent photos and a short video of her "playing." She is really starting to enjoy some of her toys and I find that she is truly tracking with her eyes and following sounds and colors as well. It won't be long before she is figuring out all of the bells and whistles!
