As of late...

Anna Claire has officially cut her first two teeth! She is also dangerously close to crawling and in the meantime has figured out creative ways to get around which include rolling and spinning on her belly using her arms to rotate. It is quite funny and I hope to post a video sometime this week. She is also sitting on her own and can stay in the sitting position for a few minutes now before toppling over. Between the crawl attempts and sitting - she has taken quite a few spills! Below are pics from the past few days. Note her precious Derby hat, her all four's position, and her teeth! She also is loving some educational TV. Just late last week I was desperate to dry my hair before work and could not keep her entertained. I sat her in her bumbo seat for some Sesame Street. It captured her attention just long enough! This morning she enjoyed some Mozart/Baby Einstein. See the picture below of her "TV Time."

We are all doing well... recovering from Anna Claire's first real illness. Last week she got a stomach bug and it was hard on all of us. After a doc appt and some Zofran (anti nauseau meds) the vomitting stopped and she was able to rest. After about 24 hours of clear liquids and lots of rest she was back to her giggly self. I am convinced it was much harder on us than it was on her! We may be working on tooth #3 so I see some sleepless nights ahead of us. Cross your fingers that this isn't the case! She has been sleeping MUCH better the past week or so since the last tooth came through.
